First Blog and Ramble On

Wow, Hmm..so this is what it's like to have a blog? Neat-O! If you don't know who i am, my name is Jillian and I'm a freshman at the best college ever! (in my opinion) The name of my site comes from Gaelic, the word "laoch" means warrior. And another one of my favorite terms is "aingeal" which means angel. The phrase "Laoch of the Storm" refers to the average strength of a person's ability to overcome all of the darkness in the their lives and survive. In a way this is being a 'warrior" of the storm (the bad obstacles of life). I seriously believe in this name because everyone, no matter who you are, what walk of life you come from, have to suffer at some point. It is human nature, but it is who you are inside and your faith that determines if you sink or swim when a situation gets dire. I want to give a out shout out to my friend Jake, whose own blog is freaking cool. I never realized how spiritual he was! Rock on! Do your thing man! and to Kim, another great friend of mine (six years now), i have to say, hope everything is getting better and less than two weeks until I come home for fall break and give you an awesome 19th birthday!!!
